Love the steamy shower! :)
Yeah, I just can't stay away from the guys too long. :)
Did you like working with that new body hair? I'm thinking about getting it. It looks like it isn't sitting that closely to the skin there by the waist, but I don't know if that's just the camera angle in some spots. How much does it affect your render time? Your render is cute! Love the kitten.
Nice to see the thread getting some action! Great images everyone! :)
Wow. When can I have him?
Thank you for that. The figure is Michael 7- the make up is a set I am currently wrapping up to submit to Daz for approval. So...soonish? ;)
That is just the hair out-of-the-box for a first trial - there are a pile of adjustment (and a thread about it) in Commons. It did seriously up the render time - without hair was something like 10 minutes, with hair about an hours and 20, but I hadn't played with any of the adjustments and options. It comes with the presets Redz used in the promos - this is the Darius promo set, and I agree the camera angle doesn't help the effect.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to knock one of these doey, weepy eyed women out of the top spots in the gallery.
Thanks for the info. I did find the thread in the Commons about it. I'm seriously considering it.
Ah, wouldn't that be nice?!!!
Gianni body hair preset with thining and shortening dialled in - the more I play the more I like Oh and the render time was much shorter this time
Always- but it's a "like" thing. Can't do that with 5 likes. lol
Very well done, Meg, on that one with the hair settings/render. I like.
Make it easier for us. Include a link to the gallery page when you post you images, here and any other thread you post them to. I know an artist, (I won't name,) who goes so far as to say something like, "If you like this image, a thunbs up in the Gallery would be greatly appreciated." (Gross paraphrasing...) It worked, too. I've seen a lot of that artist's images in the top banner... just sayin'
ETA: There. Now it's 6. Anyone else want to Like Darwin's image, you can find it here.
Now has 11 likes, I just added mine. :-)
.......I didn't think of that, thank you L'Adair! Thank you for the likes as well. Much appreciated!
That's some good advice. Adjusted my latest post
You're welcome. And I'm happy to see the number of Thumbs up is now 15!
I've added my like as well. Darwin's guy deserves a top spot. And once you hit 29 likes it gets to the top page. :)
Just added my Like, I don't go to the Gallery often :-)
All I have to say is: David lives. Woohoo!!!!
Awesome posing indeed!
Elijah is my new baby.
Oh my gosh he's so adorable! I can't wait to get my hands on him!
More Elijahhhhhhh
Both images look great @Hanabi! I love your enthusiasm! :)
I created this image with the intention of trying to paint in the hair. The first is the original and the second is my attempt.
Boyd never learned to swim, but learning looks like it is going to be fun!
A fred Winkler Malachi render:
That looks great @Nemesis10! If you don't mind, can you adjust the size of your image to a width of 800 px to fit forum guidelines? Thanks!
I love that expression you managed! Nice work. :)
edit: forgot the little "@" symbol!
So that painted in long hair is some of the best I've seen in DAZ. How did you do that?
I never noticed before but that pool matches the South Beach Art Deco sets theme quite well.
Done!

Thanks for the compliment, nonesuch00. I took the first image into Corel Painter, added a layer and then painted in the extensions as well as painting over the top some too. There are tutorials for painting hair on youtube. I watched a lot of youtube videos for Photoshop, Painter, blender and other things. Basically you lay down a base color somewhat darker than what you want the final hair color to be. And then you paint in the stands in layers (not Photoshop layers but you could use them) but hair layers. Then you back and forth with the colors and add highlights too.
good job
