Good girl!! ;)
...and I agree. One of the wonderful things about art is that anything truly goes!
Yes! I got TheDigiVault's new Cold Fusion set!!!
Here's my initial setup - priliminary shader setup, with one light in the main chamber ahead, and this is the main entry/exit (Section 1 of 3), which is where I put my attention so far for just lighting it enough to see what to 'really' do with this....
Yeah... I think I like this so far. It's a really fun kit! Lots of detail!
Was wondering about that product as well !
All of the glowing things have proper emission maps! :)
...and there are a lot of little things that glow. Buttons, lights, energy, edges of glass....
I also love my new Sci Fi Cruiser! Dartanbeck and Rosie gaze on as they drift past the nebula
I'm going to work a lot more on Cold Fusion - more... my lighting of it.
The textures do turn out like that when loaded into Carrara Shaders. I dimmed the lights way down to 6 to make it darker, then put those volumetric in for the main illumination. For this, I'm going to take a different approach.
I want to make a version without all of the volumetric lighting to show off the wonderful textures... more like the job TheDigiVault did on his amazing promos!
Some progress without having hardly any time to work on it. Just tweaked the shaders slightly and got rid of the Light Cone Effect lights
I kitbashed TheDigiVault's incredible Sci Fi Cruiser starship with some of the bits and pieces from Ravnheart/ToxicAngel's Sci Fi Ship Construction Set - giving it wings, a lot more living/working space, support beams and a few extra exterior lights.
The environment is the really well-made Stardome that comes with the Sci Fi Cruiser. I love it!
Here's the Cruiser without the kitbash. Looks fantastic without any changes! My story dictates that I have more room inside, so I added more room. Otherwise I love it as-is. But that Construction kit really is a fun thing for adding things to ships, or building one from scratch.
waiting patiently for a black hole render dart
lookin thru my old gallery
one of my 1st carrara renders. using reflections
Very good Mystarra
if you still have the file you could add a HDR image to it to help out the reflection.
Playing around with the deer textures to get a fallow type happening!
Took a bit of work to get this new model 3 Wheeler from @Eagle99 into Carrara .. but we got there. A very cool model
Kreepy Kid Easter Image
Very cute, not creepy at all!
Chubby Bubby
Its not render but is Carrara, I try to make cube pixels or something weird, mosaik on wall for example
this is replicator and curve filter, as idea I need 3 replicators Red Green Blue, and 3 set curve filters
that's different .. very cool
Harry Herring
Introduce the World to Carrara H 8tch Deee!!!
Emu Kid!
Does that baby have Carrara hair too?
I love that emu! Well... the whole render, but that emu....!!!
Soft cuddly emu
Soft & Cuddly?
Very cool concept and render, my friend. I hope you don't mind my enlarging of the image... I just love it!
hairy emu
how do you make those lovely hazeless renders??
is it the pbr plug in?
i haz case of the envies hairs so crisp and in focus
Hey Misty,
thanks for your kudos
I didn't use any plugins for that render, just Carrara's render engine.. and I use TP Lightdomes which I don't think are in the store anymore.
Also use a shadow catcher with low ambient light ( around 8 - 10 usually) and also DT's Luminance packs
then I just tweak it all here and there, set the render settings at BEST for Anti-A .. OBJECT Accuracy 0.5 pixels ... and that's it.
neither GI or Full Ray Tracing is selected .
still working on a floating island
is a Carrara terrain with a mountain and zero edge filter with a couple bulge modifiers on x and y axis with different limits so its not rectangular
then duplicated with symmetry on z axis top one scaled down z bottom one up
Octane render
first video, rendering folliage one
nice cloud work
thanks i do have the domes. dont have the luminance, next sale
