all rendered with Carrara native engine but  Hitfilm Express layering of BG arrows and figure

without my 980ti Octane does not fit a lot,  and even before certainly not Evil Producer's Fantasy Village with buildings in the BG render

  • Guess I should post this in here as well, so someone will see it outside a seemingly completely dead thread.

Don't know if using LuxCore is cheating or not, but these kinds of results are just straight up not possible in Carrara natively.

    Hi DragonSkyRunner

"but these kinds of results are just straight up not possible in Carrara natively."

like your render but I beg to differ not being achievable in Carrara I hope you agree, possibilly harder to reproduce, but achievable definitely. down the page a little!

    Self driving cars .... ?

Neeh, thats a long time yet. Would you trust HAL 9000 to drive you home ?

But these container-transport you might meet one dark night on a road near you.

The container is made by Predatron , here in the shop.

Hey Chris, thanks for stepping in and posting again.  You jogged my memory of your previous posts on realism - two years ago! - and I finally used the shader you so nicely provided.

I am still relatively inexperienced with Carrara, and realism is a challenge for me (and these are early stages).  But I got pretty good results just by playing with your stuff.  Many thanks!

I felt like throwing together a dreary landscape, so I did.

    Nice seascape and dragon, Diomede!

Stezza, your time machine would have looked strange to me - EXCEPT - I just happened to discover the Timeless series about a month ago!  Very ... timely. :)

And thanks to both of you for the comments.

This reality stuff could get addicting. :)

Thanks for the comments on mine.

Look, UB has some shiny new toys!  Very realistic showroom finish on the vehicles.  I'll take two.

Magnificent modeling, Stezza.  Love the pug in the back.
