    Thank you Y'all.

It is in fact my birthday. I'm slowly joining the ranks of the geriatrics and feeble minded.

On a side note, all items posted for download and links have been added to the list. Between this new job and my current issue of Mirror Universe and the Andoria's Secret collection I've been extremely busy. Thanks to all of you for your support and help in learning this craft.

Hard to believe I've been at this for four years already.

    Here's to 40 more!

i have been asked to do some commission morph building for a patron that uses daz studio pro .
he wishes to know if there will be any problem with the injection poses in studio as they were built in and for poser .
i dont have a clue becouse i use poser not studio , i have no idea what to tell him

If you mean DAZ-style injection poses, calling pz2s via readscript, they should be fine. .pmd injection, however, doesn't work in DS4+, although there is a plugin for DS3 if he has access to that.

[snort] Feeble-minded geriatrics! I'm 56, Paul, and I'll have you know that my mind is as sharp as it ever was. I can remember 30 years ago like it was yesterday, and yesterday like it was 30 years ago. I'm twice as strong as a ten year old, with a body that receives many comments. (I could wish a few of them were compliments, admittedly . . .) And I can tell you right now that, uh, it only gets . . . uh . . . what were we talking about?

Oh yeah, the great job you've done, maintaining the freebies list! Good work, sir!

Spent most of the evening doing an update of my scoutship- Spirit of Chicago -I need him for this current book. I was having problems with the ship's name and registry.
I built the outer hull and some smaller pieces with shetch-up over two years ago, but I had made texture maps for the name and registry.
Well, I got tired of fighting the maps, so I went back to Sketch-up and re-created both as obj files which I then placed and parented to the hull.
We saw him from a distance in "A Tale of Two Captains: Part 3" primarily because of the map problem. This time, we'll be seeing him close up. There'll be one appearance in Book Nine, then I think he'll be retired.

Just a quick note that I have uploaded a teaser for the next Star Trek: Aurora movie, the title of which will be "Thine Own Self." Like the first Aurora movie, the characters are all Daz figures. Longtime followers of Aurora know that it will take a while to complete the movie, but I hope to get this one done a bit faster than the first one–that's the plan, anyway! In any case, I hope you like what you see so far. This movie will be a bit lighter in tone than the last one–not exactly a tall order! ;-)

there is this one at sharecg

with working landing ramp and gear and turrets
    fairly decent texture

    http://www.sharecg.com/v/67123/browse/11/Poser/Star-Wars-Millenium-Falcon

What's the proper scale size to put it for Victoria and Mike 4'?

225% seems to work for me...
can I ask, with the Millenium-Falcon was it a clean install. or did you have to do any work on the OBJ?
also the texures did not load and I had to load them by hand not hard but took some working out.
    (poser pro 2012. win 7 64bit)
any help or tip would be welcome. regards

Yeah, Poser Pro 012 has a MAJOR problem with the model. It refused to load the textures, and doing it by hand, made the thing look like a mess. But, loading it into Daz was clean with no fuss.

The chap uploading the models to Share, seems to be not testing his conversions in Poser, or is testing them in an older Poser.

I know a good Poser conversion will show up one day, but it all depends on how good the source model is, as many of the Lightwave, Studio3D models do seem to be low poly and pretty outdated.

It depends on who does it too. I have see the source model of the Millenium Falcon and its just fine.

I agree, but the conversion on Share seems to come out not well and comes out looking like a video game model conversion.

But, when you do your magic, the models come out looking something mindblowingly amazing.

Okay to get this thread back on track. I need some help in the STAR TREK realm of things.

    But first....

A respectful "Please take your Star Wars conversations, renders and such over to the Star Wars Thread. Crossover images are okay, as most of us are fans of multiple genere's. But a polite Please has been asked. "

    Thank you.

    Back on track...

I'm working on a couple of other projects while working the Mirror Universe series. The Primary-Secondary project is to get my sequel to my very first novel done. A TOS era book. I'm looking for a Romulan bridge. a large one at that. the set up is it will need to be a bridge for a Juggernaught romulan ship. Any suggestion where I can find one or get one converted. I have the tools. I just need the set.

and for show and tell....my fugly romulan commander...no gorgeous romulan ladies in this novel.
