oh, ok. i forgot about the plat club discount. im so used to seeing that, that i thought it was part of the sale.
Well, it is, in a way; the PC+ intro discount lasts for two weeks, the same time as the "standard" intro discount. Look out for the store page thumbnails with the little blue DAZ logo, those are the DAZ Original goodies that get the extra %age off.
Question. So I noticed with the female Centaur that the horses body looks a bit chunky for my tastes so how does one reshape the body to be more lithe?
One thing I have never understood about Centaurs. The human part has the torso, which of course includes a complete digestive system. Then the horse part has another complete digestive system. So... where does the food get digested?

According to CS Lewis, they eat for two bodies, a human meal first followed by a horse meal, IIRC. It's in The Silver Chair.

Great! It only makes sense to me the hides should work on any centaur, male or female, but ya never know. Thanks for the confirmation, and thank you for the update to the Iray Essentials product. I was hoping for an inexpensive expansion, but free update is even better! Hugs.
Like the DAZ Horse, there are several breed morphs. I found both Arabian and Thoroughbred worked well to make the body smaller and "more lithe".
ETA: I should mention, the breed morphs come with the Pro Bundle, in the "Centaur 7 Female Hides and Breeds" product. (At least you can purchase it separately. With the horse, you had to buy the pro bundle to get additional hides and breeds.)

Well I was excited about the female centuar, but DAZ dropped the ball and I can't stand the transition area just like with the male version, oh well.
FSMCDesigns you gotta check out RawARTs character for the Centuar!! it fixes the join ........me I'm just HAPPY!!
True, but then I would have to get the base and Rawarts product. Basing this on past experience, can you dial out Rawarts morphs, or is it all or nothing?
Hmm, to me it seems the seams of Centraur G3F seem not to be all that bad. But as the promo itself did not only seem to be not that good as it was with Centaur G3M, I had to pass on Raws version anyhow whereas it was a total must have for the first bundle. Heck I only got one additional product to trigger that extra discount. Anyhow, now both of them can ride into the digital sunset taking my wallet with them.

you can simply use the materials and not use Raw's morph at all and there is a morph dial so you can add in as much or little as you want ......
@FSMCDesigns - When I saw her today, I thought of you. I still think you have the best looking "centauride" around! Her curves are beautiful and graceful.
LOL, thanks. yeah, I really want to invest in her, but not sure if I can morph her close to what I like. I am just not into the stocky, barbarian look on a female centaur.
haha here is Rheena skin and a mix of toon morphs and horse morphs and some scaling......
okay so got rid of the toon and played with the avaiable morphs ,maybe if we ask nice some talented person could make a delicate /unicorn morph for the centaur

Actually I was thinking more for the horse body ,rather then the whole centuar,a more delicate,longer legged horse body .
that's pretty cool then more variety and a bonus for getting both
it makes sense plus in real life there has been and still are a lot of creatures with more than one stomach or chambers such as camels, cows (has 4 chambers), pretty much most hooved creatures, ants have two

I really love the shape you are getting with the horse parts. I too prefer to be able to get a smaller yet rounder behind.

Thank you ALLIEKATBLUE , pretty much I just scaled the leg PARTS longer to get close to the look I wanted ,but I really need to learn how to model ,or beg better cause I think being able to dial longer legs or a smaller chest or rounder rump could be a benefit to the DAZ Horse2 and the centuars. Yes I've heard /read that the DHorse2 is old but I seen things like the morphs for the MilHorse that really added to it old doesn't mean useless .......
Sorry about that little rant but any way I LOVE THE CENTUARS!!
