My Little Eurohippus: Fossils is Magic :D
...not on my end, and I still see everyone else's. Don't tell me the Avi issue is popping up again.
I wonder if it's because of some setting in IE?

No mention of little finger hairs. If you see him on bus again, change seats. : )
Thanks, I'll do couple of test runs with the "settings that worked with the lights that worked" and then proceed to tweak the body for more default sort of lights.
Velvet option, though, is quite nice, so I'll check the usual ubersurface options nonetheless... and this is a hairy beast, so insides of the ear are kinda out of that. :D
I think the hair settings in the toolbox are for fibremesh hair. But haven't tried it; not great on the transparency hairs.

I could do some Stone Age "cutiemarks" for it too :D
Dinosaur :3
I like this guy, I think he is quite handsome - but I rarely find a use for him D:

Yeah. My Dad has severe neuropathy in his hands and feet. He has never, not once, had anyone mention hair as a causative factor. Rather it has to do with him letting his blood sugar stay over 200 on a regular basis for 20+ years.
There are non-diabetic causes of neuropathy, but none of them are hair-related.
...cirkey this thread moves too fast sometimes.

...I've been experimenting and they do have an effect on transmapped hair as well. Especially useful if a subject is backlit.
More like dis like with Gamma Radiation.
Positive side effect: toes will grow back.
...yeah but he'd need quite the budget for new shoes every time he gets mad.
Bah! Hulk Foot Smash Puny Cockroach!
Is cute!

I see it.
Why does society say that women have to shave their arm pits and legs? Some think that woman have to shave their bikini area. Why?

I have it too (neuropathy), but my diabetes only went undiagnosed for 5-7 years. I had numbness in my right foot due to sciatica; so when the left foot joined in I just assumed it was sciatica again.
"First Contact" drop.
Subsurface Shaders on the Alien and his stuff.
ETA: Oh yeah, render. (slap forehead emote)
:D
Money. The answer is always money.
I've read that this idea originated in the 1920's when bathing suits that revealed the legs and underarms became widely available and popular. It was heavily advertised and emphasized by companies wishing to sell shaving products to women, who were a new market demographic for their products at the time. Advertising had more of a social impact then than it does now, so people were less inclined to look at an ad telling them they needed something, roll their eyes, and go "yeah, right." Instead women started shaving.
This started in the USA and then spread to Europe, which is why it's a more commonly held belief in the US than in some parts of Europe (depending on their exposure to, and acceptance of, the advertising).
I thought the render was missing. Thought it could be the library computer not loading the render or something like that
:D
What? You couldn't see it?
You got me Kulay. :D
Image is there now. : )

I can't use Subsurface Scattering since my edition of Indigo doesn't support it ^^;

Complaint: Advertisements that start out with, "Do you suffer from diabetes (or whatever your particular ailment happens to be)..."
I find myself shouting, "No, I enjoy it, Stupid!"
....complaint: why does all the cool stuff have to always be for for apps like Vue or 3DS?

Really, really would love this for Poser/Daz. The detail is so perfect even including the famous "Beavertail" parlour car.
Only rode the successor of these trains in the diesel streamliner era that followed, but they were still unique. Long and sleek in their yellow and silver livery, with a full length dome car and end parlour car on which the entire back end was all windows.
It was a beautiful ride through the farmlands of southern Wisconsin, the Wisconsin River Dells (a popular destination during the summer), then northwest to Lacrosse and along the the Mississippi (with spectacular towering bluffs on both sides) on up to St. Paul/Minneapolis.
...and they were still fast, all the way up to the "end". I'd often go out to Oconomowoc (a small town west of Milwaukee) to watch the afternoon Hiawatha hit it's stride, flying by in a blur of yellow and silver at 100 - 110 mph.
Until the Amtrak took over all rail passenger service in 1971, there were still both the morning and afternoon Hiawathas and they still were quite popular., particularly during the summer.
Last night I saw a commercial for a pharmaceutical product stating, as one of its side effects, brittle bones and a probability of hip breakage.
Then one of the characters in the rest of the commercial said, "Break a leg!"
*Facepalm*

Double Facepalm.
I like the medications that state the product side effects include stroke, heart-attack, and death.
Those are not side effects, those are reasons for the FDA to ban it.

Not when one of those drugs is Viagra. Which will absolutely kill you if you take it while on nitrates for chest pain. That's why, if you call 911 for chest pain, the EMTs will ask if you're using Viagra or its equivalents even if you're a 90-year-old female. But can you imagine the outcry if it were banned on those grounds? Nun uh. :D
on the topic of medications - I need something to calm me down. lol. I have issues logging into Facebook. I want to reply to some of the weather related news posts. Grr. I'll try logging in later.
On the topic of shaders, I should try using some elite skins now that I have a video card. Ok, it is about six years old. :p
Maybe I'll just do body parts on a cake cart with cake instead. But I need floating heads in crystal balls, so I'll have to get this working eventually.. sigh..
Now it's starting to sound like Futurama! Floating heads in bell jars...but those heads are alive and talk. :D

Mine will be undead! (zombie face)
Did you look at Exnem's stuff at Renderosity? Some good looking food products. Pastry, cake, fruit, BBQ Steaks!
I'm upset that Finder II won't work with DS 4.5/4.6/4.whatever. They keep selling us tools that they later break with a new version of DS.
Dana
It's actually Exinems cakes that I bought today! Tasty enough to render! (grin)
I miss Finder a LOT. I wonder why they won't update it? Morons! (angry face)

Heh - that'd be impressive as heck! (amazed face)
