Complaint:  Almost five years ago I bought a nice pair of quality digital wireless headphones (Sennheiser HDR-170).  Works absolutely marvelously, clear noiseless sound, comfortable ear pads.  Perfect for my needs.  But having experience with soft earpad covering materials I knew that the material covering the actual foam (or the foam itself) would eventually break down from wear and skin oils.  So, some months later I bought, for $20, a pair of exact replacement earpads (they're designed to be easily replaced)  That extra pair of earpads has been sitting in a drawer, or box, or cupboard somewhere in this house for 4 years but now that my headphone earpads have actually degraded and started flaking off, I can not seem to find my replacement pads.  Arghhhhh.....angry  OK, so bite the bullet and go back to Amazon to order a new pair.  Yes, they are still available but now they're $35.  Arghhhh... crying  I guess I'll keep pulling boxes and drawers and cupboards and double checking. frown

I use my headphones every day because of my difficulty hearing.  They make listening to TV speech much more easily understood without turning up the volume so loud that the neighbors could complain especially at night.  Years ago (before good wireless headphones) I had an uncle who did that in his own home and the rest of the family had to shout at each other to have conversations.sad

I tried to post a gif of her transformation but it didn't work so here's a before and after... I'm in a rendering lull it seems. I can't decide what to do.

I do not. I don't even have an actual hammer.

I managed to approximate what I was going for with the hair I have.

Whatever happened to that retro encabulator? I’ve been searching for a solution for my unilateral phase detractors wearing out prematurely.

Thank you. I'm quite proud of the results. Though I'm pretty sure I stole the pose from a photo my dad shot or one of the cosplay girls I follow on fb.

    unilateral phase detractors

    magneto reluctance, dingalarn

    the fruited poptart
    gnarly wank shaft spudulator
    gear rattle

you will be directed to perform a series of tests that effectively raise the billable service hours of the service department, but perform no other function"

...I still wrote programmes for a Burroughs B6700 using what today are considered dead languages, but I know LG has me beat.

Used both card punches, and Decwriter terminals (like the one on the left - crikey, what a waste of paper). The only one with a CRT was the Sysop.  .

He's pretty but not Frodo.  Unless years or plastic surgeons have worked wonders.  Elijah Wood was Frodo.

  • i overslept again.

i didn't get a sales email this morning but really it is ok. i spent too much already and have less than zero interest in the main deal.

it looks like this week's freebie is something i already got as a freebie.

i need to figure out how to improve the textures on some of the sets i have. they aren't good for anything close up.

    what's for breakfast?

watching the memorials coverage in the break room on news12

never thought about it before is a thought that deserves a few sobs,
they mentioned the thousands of cars sitting months at train stations,
cuz the commuters whom never came back for them
next thought was the pets home waiting for their hooman companions
oh mann i need somethin strong to drink
stress and sobs messes up my gastro encabulator system

  • another day of putting stuff in my shopping cart then emptying it. as much as i could use some of the things in the flash sale i must be patient and wait.

Non-complaint:  Yay!  I found my headphone replacement earpad set.  It was in the drawer I'd looked in twice before. frown  Probably just out of phase and had slid into the "Phantom Zone" for a while.indecision

'Nother non-complaint:  Yay!  My new smart phone (Samsung J3 "Luna Pro") has arrived.  Now charging battery.  Finally joining the mid-2nd decade of the 21st century.  Phone tech is 2 years old so it's already enfeebled but I hope it will suffice.  The price (~$50) was right.yes  I cannot for the life of me understand paying significant fractions of a thousand dollars for a freakin' phone just for the latest fad bait.surprise

I know.  My sister has the latest iPhone.  What a waste.  Maybe it's not the latest, but it was when she got it.  I read an article about the latest one.  It was touted as the best one yet.  But, tests in an independent lab showed that it was actually slower than the previous model!!!
