    Hi . I have a problem with this program.

    The "regular" conversion dont work. Dont convert nothing and no save nothing .

    With the custom conversion I have the result showed in the file attached.

    For the regular conversion, I need more information:

    1. You are unable to add a character to convert?
    2. The script returns and says it cannot convert?
    3. Or it does say it converts but you don't see anything?

    The Daz log of the conversion would be helpful.

    For the custom character conversion, the character you want to convert (and G8F) need to be at the origin (location 0,0,0).

    Hi. I could convert the characters in the normal way but the neck is still as in the picture. The body works well (the dials are ok), but when i move the head´s dial the neck is stretched and the face morphs dont change. For the custom the two characters (G2 and G8) are in the (0.0.0)

    The way that head and neck moves it certainly looks like it wasn't at 0,0,0 during conversion.  If you reran the conversion, did you delete the morphs outside of Daz Studio first (they will be in data/Daz 3D/Genesis 8/Female/Morphs... the root is specified in the first directory for Daz Studio Formats in the Content Manager)?  If you didn't, it could still be the first morphs.

    The log you posted is the log in the script dialog.  However, for detailed analysis, I need the Daz log, available in Help->Troubleshooting...->View Daz Log

    Hi. It works now . i deleted all the morphs and still the neck thing. I deleted the RSCloneGenesis2Female file and the morphs again and it works now with Victoria 6, Gia and the Girl 6 (only tried in the custom mode but is fine for me).

    Does it work with custom G2F characters?

    I have a G2F character, made with some G1/V5 morph (already using a morph converter), and I wonder if it can work with that. My character use V5 textures set for the skin.

    Yeah, yesterday it was at full price whitout the usual new release sale and I suspected a store bug. So I expected it would be fixed today. Now it's gone.

    the main conversion runs slow for me as well but i wasn't too shocked as Daz Studio in general seems run really slow lately, is there any harm in deleting the files in the temp folder under the app data?

  • I do like this a lot, but V4-G8F is the one I am really looking for. ;)

    No, it is fine.  The script will regenerate them next time you run it.

    awesome thank you :), just figured out today that the this actually creates dials for the figure too, now we just need someone to create a product to do help us organize our morphs, so we could put all the morphs from this or other things in one section together :)

    Weird I purchased this downloaded it, went back to the store right after and I mean right after purchasing and it was gone. It did install though and I have not yet found time to try it.

    Very weird.  If I log out, I can see it.  If I am logged in, I cannot.

    The UVs are very different from G2 to G8.  The Legacy UVs products might help you.

    It should, but a copy of a copy is not going to be as good as a direct conversion.

    I am not having any luck with my conversions. Attached is "Lilith 8" on the left and Lilith 6 on the right. Conversions on base characters take 1-2 hours, and the results look like the attached. I have only used the 2020 method with Hide Eyes unchecked. I have deleted the morph data for the converted morphs before retrying conversions. I was afraid some other morphs may interfering, so I deleted the questionable morphs, but I still get the same results. My default G8F appears to load clean, Currently Used doesn't list any unexpected morphs. This is on a Mac running Catalina, I doubt this should be the reason, but who knows.

    Is it only on Lilith 6 or on all conversions?  Are all the problems in the FHM morph or other morphs are causing problems too?

    BTW, Nice bug report.  You covered almost everything I was going to ask.

    So far I have attempted Giselle, Nineve, Lilith, Girl, Callie, Belle, Chika, and Fiends Forever. Strangley, Fiends Forever is the only one that was somewhat successful, the only issue being with the eyes being distorted. After that I read the comments and realized that even Hide Eyes was checked in options, I just assumed that the defaults would be selected correctly, my mistake lol. I haven't tried Fiends Forever since unchecking Hide Eyes, I've only re-attempted Girl and Lilith. 

    I'm realizing I only removed the morphs in question from Genesis 8 and not Gensis 2... I going to remove those and see if that's the culprit. They are GenX'ed morphs from V4 and I'm not sure why those would be an issue, especially since the obj files produced during the transfer looked correct, but just in case...

    OK, checked and only had those morphs for Genesis and Genesis 3... Deleted those anyway, going to attempt LIlith again with the 2019 method...

    I understand, I needed to clean those out anyway, this was as good an excuse as any... The look of the faces reminded me of a botched transfer of that morph. The pic I posted of the LIlith transfer was with Hide Eyes unchecked, and probably the third try after unchecking HIde Eyes. The last try was after uninstalling and reinstalling the script, which shouldn't be the issue, but who knows.

    I was just checking that out. So, yeah, that is what my clone looks like... Explains a lot. 

    Posting my G8F head, does that look correct? I don't use G8F very often, and when I was playing around with Posey I was noticing issues with the eyelids (they were clipping through the eyes). But what times I had used G8F characters, I hadn't noticed anything out of the way except for Posey/Petunia.

    At least I"m zeroing in on my issue...

    If those are supposed to be Base G8F without any morphs engaged, then no, they don't look like mine.

  • I purchased this a few days ago, and so far I've been disappointed with the results.  I believe I am following the manual directions well, and I have tried several chatacter conversions, all with similar failures as depicted below.  I have been using the custom character conversion routine since the batch approach rarely seems to recognize the existence of the character, regardless of whether I load directories or files.  Talk about "rubber necking"?  Not sure what is going on here, but it's 100% consistent.

    (I'm trying to attach a screenshot, but since I am a comparative newbie, I'm not sure how to go about that.)
