Deer like leaves, preferably sweet, tender leaves on plants that you are trying to grow.

Deer make very nice stews and roasts.

    Just saying.

Shiva and Ifrit are looking brilliant in FFvii remaster.  chocobos fluffy and yellow.
tifa has big boobages, poor girl is gonna have a bad back.

the store wanted 60 bux for the kahlura, so instead i got a cute drambuie giftset, comes with 2 shot glasses.

    ...60$ for a bottle of Kahlua? Here in Portland a 750 ml bottle is 19$ and a 1.5 L bottle is 37$

complaint  been looking forward to watching The Tempest.

the actors are attractive, but omg the acting is soo bad.  cant finish watching it.  owwch.  dvd is going straight into the trash.  Onay  ONay

...non complaint:  Just checked the UPS Tracking and the new display arrived about an hour ago at the local UPS hub. Should have it by early afternoon tomorrow..  Now I can move the one I took from the other system back and get that up and running again.

non complaint #2:  Found a nicely refurbished notebook on eBay with a 256 GB SSD (new), 8 GB memory i5 gen4 CPU and Windows 7 Pro 64 at a decent price.  The bonus, the seller is here in Portland so there will be no shipping charge (and worry about damage) as he is willing to drop it off at my building  Not much more expensive than it would cost to get an IDE/PATA SSD (which are ridiculously priced for the amount of storage - like over 100$ for 80 GB) and a legit version of Windows7 for the old one (32 bit with Xp).

No, uni and corn are from Latin, horn is Germanic.

  • kyoto kidkyoto kid Posts: 41,040

...corn (noun, def 2): a local hardening and thickening of epidermis (as on a toe)

Likely came from corno: Italian name for horn.

I can't imagine Helen Mirren being bad in anything. I'm not fond of Shakespeare. Maybe it's the play that you dislike?

Non-complaint:  Listening to radio stream while eating breakfast here at my desk this morning, my morning greeting was this:  A five minute quickie from Dvorak.  Calm, cheerful, lite & hopeful.  Just what we need in these dark days.
