An interesting outfit which is really showcased nicely in the thumbnails,  After Dark Leather Outfit has a lot of variations for the top section. I only got it down to 59% off  $10.11  but I may get it.

Also, they are testing different carts and now mine has this at the top. Are you getting that too?

Some of the promotions in your cart are about to expire.Expiration in: 53 minutes (10/19/2021, 1:00:00 AM)

Oh yes, that is a nice set (and not skintight either, also nice).

I have the cart alert as well.

Leeloo is shown with Deja Hair in the second one (with Growing Up applied)  Look at the limited makeup options before you spend much money on her. Just choices for eye color.

I was extremely sad to hear of General Colin Powell's death yesterday morning. I was the Assistant Liaison Officer at Fort Carson, CO, for the Commanding General (MG Hudachek.)  Since Captain Easterwood was a Captain and the Liaison Officer, he did all the escorting/visits for the MG Hudachek (two star) and I did all the visits for Brigadier General Powell. For two years, I was fortunate to work with BG Powell and go on many VIP visits with him. His office was right next door to ours, and at the time, I was dating the roommate of General Powell's personal aide- what were the chances when I met that guy that he'd be that aide's roommate? When we found out who was who, we all got a good laugh. So it wasn't uncommon to talk to General Powell on the weekends either when he'd call the apartment. Yep, back then no cell phones. (1979-1982)

The one visit which stayed with me all these years was when the Latin School of the Americas visited, there were 17 VIPs and we had just boarded a CH-17 Chinook. The VIPs were babbling away in rapid Spanish. General Powell leaned over and said, "I'm glad you speak Spanish, Lieutenant."  I gave him an innocent look and said, "Moi?"  to which he replied, "Don't give me that French crap L.T." with a smile and arched eyebrows. SUCH a sense of humor.  He was such a people person- I SO wanted him to run for President.

Anyway, rest in peace General Powell, enjoy the ultimate retirement because you've earned it.

Thank you for sharing that story, it's always fascinating to hear that people actually knew (and, in this case, liked) a public person. I hope you're not too sad!

@fishtales I am headed to get some sleep as it's 4:10am here, but my goodness, that is so sad for the folks in that area.

@fishtales that lava is really flowing right now!
@barbult  @rgcincy   You're welcome. It's THE fondest memory I have of my time in service because it makes me smile. Well, that and when I got a congresswoman back into the jeep because although we had asked them to stay in vehicle, we had stopped for a static display (which was a diversion, there were concealed tanks which a few minutes later rolled up on us) but there were concealed snipers and she was about to step on one of them. I got out of the jeep when she was about four feet away and told her we were about to move on, asked her to get back in the vehicle. I got between her and the sniper. When the tanks suddenly rolled in (there the entire time, about 30 feet away) and the snipers leapt up, she gasped and said, "I almost stepped on him!" and General Powell smiled and said, "We know." Everyone laughed. The sniper was covered in reddish clay colors and it was amazing to see that a clump of vegetation on his back and back of legs hid him so well.

That was Democrat  congressman Lehman's visit too but I can't remember who she was because Lehman was my assignment. There were eight congress members all together. Escorting VIPs was a great job, doing all the visit planning was fun too, trying to make it unique.

So Echo is listed in the title as 8.1 but she is in the Genesis 8 Female in the studio. And what I HATE is when a vendor makes it so you must load the G8F first THEN apply the character.  @Mousso  It should be one click from the Characters! And why does the title say 8.1 and it ISN'T in the 8.1 section, it's in the 8.0   ????? Tired of shoddy work by QA. No one else has noticed this, or have they? I am not searching the forums, too busy.

    ReadMe    Echo

And now a bunch of files not found. I AM RETURNING HER. PERIOD.

Her skin looks awfully grey. In need of some vitamin C and some sunlight!

Just out of curiosity, are you using Smart Content or the Content Library. I don't know from Smart Content, but what I've seen so far is that ***all*** of the 8.1 characters are installing to the 8.0 Characters directory structure. Not one or two: ALL of them, even Michael and Victoria. I don't think that the 8.1 directories even contain a Characters subdirectory by default. I wound up creating one of my own because not having it there was making me a little mental, and I manually move every 8.1 character and their materials directory into that spot.

The 8.1 directories mostly have expressions presets, some poses, a very few 8.1-specific materials, and clothing, I think.

I just returned Echo. I have a zero tolerance anymore on products. if they don't work right out of the box, back they go. My time is extremely valuable.

@vwrangler  Yeah, noticed there is no characters in 8.1   THIS IS STUPID.  But I returned her because all I got was a bunch of files not found, even after reinstalling and installing again. I use Content Library only.  And again, I hate it when you can't click character and get her, you have to load 8.0 first?  I am going to go see if I loaded 8.0 or 8.1 and maybe that's why I got files not found. But how much sense does it make to have to go to 8.0 to get the character materials and shape, but go to 8.1 for the basic 8.1 body? So returning it.

I uninstalled and reinstalled again, closed the studio again, and now she's showing up in 8.0   I am going to go cancel that request, but this is highly irritating. She was not loading right, i did have the 8.1 figure for her to load onto, so I didn't make any mistakes.

Could be the blue-ish lighting. The vendor's promos are where I'd look for actual skin tones. :)  Second row, last one though looks absolutely green in the face, where the other outdoor ones look more red.

Tested Echo using the same lighting and her skin is more ruddy, so it definitely isn't the lighting.

Take a look at this lava flow- and those people who are just idiots IMO. Toxic fumes spread very quickly and they're just way too close. You can see the fumes in the air. Not to mention how fast that lava is moving.

Going by the zoom level of the camera and therefore the foreshortning of the perspective I would say they are between 3 and 5 miles from the eruption and the wind is from right to left so blowing the smoke and fumes away from them.

  • Hidden Hangar and Biplane seems inspired by Hayao MIyazaki's wonderful animation Porco Rosso.  Great little film and recommended if you haven't seen it.

The promos for the product are really good. I love the one where they are flying away and she is looking back at the scenery. Nicely done!

Wonders of Nature is a nice concept, the butterfly has a lot of options. For 1.99 it's a nice nature addition to your runtime. You also get a vase, flowers, etc. At first, I thought it was a headpiece due to the main promo so thought I'd point it out. Thirty two gallery entries so it's quite popular :)
