So far, I'm not seeing anything in my DIM. Not a big deal for me, but I'm getting distracted by it. Really need to get back to work. LOL!

Sort order is based on the data provided by the store.
That's odd. I downloaded/installed DIM and yes, found the bundle and downloaded/installed those products. Still missing the bonus items though. Uninstalled DIM and went to find where in the world it put everything, sorted, we'll get there.
Product Library still has java circles for the bundle and all its products. Hopefully they and the bonuses will show up sometime this week and be available for manual downloading.
Only missing the bonus Voss hair and the swimwear. The bundle contents finally showed in DIM.
Is G9 supposed to be 6-ish inches shorter than G8?
Dim installed V9 HD, but no gens, . (Installed Via DIM) Bought the pro/intro package (prepurchase). I expected all anatomical elements Is this still being worked out? At this point, I'd explore deeper to see what else is missing, but I don't have that kind of time to invest at the moment. I already invested my money. It would be nice if there were a known issues/ working on issues thread that wasn't overrun with other customers so I didn't have to sift through thirty pages of comments to try to see if my issue has already been addressed by Daz.

Genesis 9 is looking like a disaster to me.
I'll be sticking to 8 for a good while longer.

There was no PRO package offered.
Semantics aside, the HD presale bundle was marketed as a pro bundle. I guess Daz is doing things differently with Gen9. But I'd like confirmation from a Daz rep that the Genesis 9 Essentials is not part of the missing presale bonus items.

I'm really pleased that they included autofit clones for genesis 2,3 and 8. Also I worked out my problem with the hair I need to change some things in the parameters.
Genesis 2 has loaned Genesis 9 her chandrani dress.

Assuming that the Intro Bundle and the Preorder Bundle are the same thing apart from the freebies, I'm glad I didn't preorder. Everything in the bundle that I might ever use, plus the one would-have-been-freebie that I might use, comes to $1.51 less than the bundle price.
After all the hype about 8kX8k textures, only one file (for the legs no less) is 8kX8k. The rest are 4kX4k or less.
Indeed. This has been a rather confusing and disappointing release. Thus far what we get is quite limited and the figure itself seems to now have more limitations, oddly.
Is Genesis 9 Character Essentials just eyebrows & eyelashes? It only lists those 2 in the area that says what is in the pack.
I was thinking it was only the detail normals that are 8K. So the legs are also? Seems odd. But everything about this release is odd.

The anatomical elements are in the Character Essentials product. The male version is much like what was sold for Genesis 8. The female version has external details but only one morph (realism if I remember correctly). There were no textures included for the anatomical elements.
porting potential is insane for non-pa's. this was ported in a day:
I always sort by order date in Daz Central to help with installation. However, something is still messed up with the database.. A bunch of things I purchased in the past now show as 10.19.2022 for the order date. I have "316" items I purchased today according to Daz Central.. really? It wasn't like that until Victoria 9 showed up in my products list..
In fact if I go in my product library on the website instead, all of those random ones show up as "Order: Manually Added" - database manipulations gone wrong? Poduct normally show my order ID in there..

Erm.... uh, I preordered the V9 bundle on day one, and I shop every single day, have bought over 11,000 items, and still don't have V9 or Voss hair in my DIM yet, but if I buy V9 TODAY, I can get $10 off? SeRiOuSly? Now I want V9 AND the $10 reward.
<sigh> I'm still at work so can't play anyway. I've been with DAZ since right before they started giving DAZ Studio away for free ) In fact I PAID for it - but they gave me a store credit), and I've seen a lot of uh, "stuff", but it is getting pretty wild up in here!
I was poking fun at people getting all worked up 1 minute after the store changed over last night, but it is justified now. I mean, this isn't DAZ's FIRST new character rollout. Why? Just WHY does it always get so borked up?

Starter Essentials should be in your DC Asset Library. It was in mine and I preordered the big package. .
I got the same thing. Hey, I want $10 back! I preordered her (not bundle). Is this the ultimate kick-in-the-pants for preordering and giving Daz my money early?
