Like the https://www.daz3d.com/oso-eliandra-hair-for-genesis-9 from yesterday, here on G2F (click to enlarge):

Also love the promopics, especially the atmosphere of the below one. Those images show many different subjects, very creative!

    I don't understand this shirt and sweater/jumper combo. https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-pop-culture-outfit-for-genesis-9

I have worn short loose jumpers over untucked blouses like that

I thought it looked quite reasonable, certainly more plausible (for certain groups) than many outfits.

I understand the concept, but the details and construction don't align with any real world clothes I have seen - the collar and cuffs especially. The lower hem of the jumper seems to be floating and the uneven front to back is a choice.

I think it is an oversize men's dress shirt over jeans with a sweater (jumper?) on top.  You can see the combo here (https://realtakai.com/products/rt-no-5246-knitted-quarter-button-up-shirt-sweater).  In my neck of the woods, Northern California coast, the lood would be remarkably unremarkable.

my jumpers often end up stretched and loose at the ribbed hem and shirts/blouses, uhm loose and blousy many lower in front too

    it's admittedly a dishevelled look

Yeah, this is a great version of that look:

The trouser textures have folds and indentations, but the geometry doesn't match them. I don't really mind the baggy top, but the typical Daz Originals-excuse-for-a-collar bugs me.

Yes, that collar was the final straw that made me dump the whole bundle. I'd rather spend that same amount on one well made outfit that I'd actually want to use.
  • Re: the sweater over the collared shirt outfits ... I have many IH Kang items but to be honest, I've passed over that particular one any number of times; I don't like it better than today's new version of the outfit, though what I dislike is different between the two. This new bundle is $12.58 in my cart and if I shrug and think better of buying it, this outfit won't be why.

I wish the headband in Beautyworks' Shadow Strike Ninja Outfit was a separate item. Doesn't look great melded into the mask. Also wish the pants and top were separate - or at least the combination item were shown uncovered in a promo and looked like something you could actually put on or take off in RL.

Might buy it despite its flaws - it certainly has style, and the only other appealing option that I recall is Greybro's Shadow Warrior stuff (which I already bought years ago).

I appreciate a good laugh every now and again. So can I share this one:

Last weekend I bought a new cap (baseball cap) and it cost me a fiver (say $6). So I had to laugh when I saw some electric caps for more than a real one: https://www.daz3d.com/betty-ball-cap-for-genesis-9

    Regards,

    Richard.

But you're getting many more caps this way. And they fit all (g9) heads! ;)

I really wish I had that outfit with those folds and wrinkles for Daz men. I could probably get close with dForce HnC V-Neck Knit Outfits for Genesis 8.1 Males with different pants and shoes (I'd also have to geometry edit the sleeves so I could use a coat). But the only coat I have close to those is kang1hyun's (became HnC) Genesis Double Breasted. I think his clothes were better before he came to Daz (square shoulders, folds/wrinkles on all sleeves, lots of morphs).

lol, though I abhor the high-water pants, I still got the bundle figuring I could piece together something from the lot, and even lengthen the pants once Fit Control is released.

I used Mesh Grabber to lengthen one of that PA's other high water pants that I got in a character bundle.

I like those hats tbh, I used that deals coupon on the hats and got it down to $1.51 so not bad.

The only thing is that I dunno how to get hair to not poke through so badly. I have Mesh Grabber and that can probably work but applying some type of script for hair hiding would just be a lot faster and easier.

Just gates could be in, though some of the fence types often have none or completely differently styled ones in reality, and you could always put in a metal gate if you have one. Could be an add-on, perhaps (Together with more withered textures and damaged ones, perhaps?).

Don't know if/how well they work with G9, but these are made to help fit hair under hats:

Oh! I'll try that. Thanks, @barbult

bluejaunte's most recent releases look like he is opting for a 3DUniverse niche.

Oh yes. I am not a particularly big fan of these toony girl characters with their stereotypical grin, so I wonder why more of them are needed...? Especially the grin looks strange here.

Is she supposed to be toony? She looks realistic to me, just young. :)

I see nothing toony. But hey, still good to hear from you guys. Even though it hurts sometimes.

Their previous character, Skye, was supposed to look a bit more toony, from what I understand (although she still looks less toony to me than a lot of other characters).

This new one, however, looks pretty realistic to me. Her smile is a bit weird, I gotta say, but then again, having a weird smile is not necessarily unrealistic. I mean, me personally, if I see a picture of myself smiling with my teeth showing, it makes my own skin crawl.

I do have a hard time pinning down Maddie's supposed age range, though. I guess I would place her in the small niche between 15 and 30 :)

@bluejaunte Mea culpa. I meant no offense. I really thought that was the intent.

She just looks like a BlueJaunte character to me.

That's right. I meant the others; they are much 'toonier' :-)
