...hmm National Comfy Day and Handcuff Day on the same day. Hard to imagine being comforable in handcuffs.
Oh and love the last one. I wish every day would be that.
If it was three weeks from tomorrow, would it be "National Cherry π Day"?

Close enough ?
thank you!
If you don't want to copy all those numbers, you could use 22/7 as a rough appromixation, or 355/113 to get pretty close.
I was going to post a reply to N-RArts reply about your art being "borrowed without your consent" (presumably me using a more accurate definition of what happened is libel or something and would get my post removed again)... it was a satirical comment about the burden of proof being on artists and I satirically decided to defend the "borrowers of art" and NFTs... mostly in response to the part "Although I do find it funny (just to clarify, "odd-funny", not "haha-funny"), that when something like this happens, no one comes out to defend NFTs" ... (just to clarify I was satirically replying and in no way think N-RArts was implying anyone should defend them, I just thought it would be funny to try and make an argument supportive of them) So I wrote it satirically defending the individuals who engage in this sort of activity and it probably being an honest mistake or complicated accident...
I'm assuming this is how that subject viewed by some because it seems like referring to someone who engages in certain activities by the textbook definition that would be properly assigned to someone engaged in those activities is looked at as slander or something and is forbidden... which I guess is fine because if people don't want their stuff to get borrowed without their express written consent, they should either lock it in a vault or watermark the hell out of it until it's sufficiently defaced that it's rendered unborrowable... I'm guessing that officially the sentiment is "turn all your art into NFTs first or don't complain".
At least that's how I'm starting to feel it looks like.
That's the general consensus in the NFT realm... it's not the fault of the "borrowers" it's the fault of the people who get borrowed from... if you don't lock it up or protect it by minting it (which is no protection at all), you are asking to be borrowed from.
Please note, I'm saying "borrowed" not using any other word... I mean its all probably a genuine misunderstanding, so no wild accusations against what I'm sure are fine people with fine intentions.
But whatever... the reason I didn't post it was for some stupid reason I wrote it in the text box instead of separately in Notes, and right before I posted it the forum servers spazzed out and most of the post was lost and I had no desire to rewrite it... which is probably for the better because I'm probably not as satirically funny as the voices in my head like to tell me.
But again... whatever...
After your original post about your work being borrowed without express written permission, I posted a reply that fell out a window shortly thereafter, and I don't know if I wrote something else, but I'll take a moment to say that in case I didn't write a second less controversial supportive post, I think it sucks that someone did that to you and it keeps happening to lots of other people.
I'd say more but it wouldn't be satirical, and since saying mean things about what I'm sure are fine people is not welcome, I'm just going to say nothing more on this subject.
Have a great evening and I hope no more of your work gets "borrowed without your express written consent".
My legs hurt but I don't know why.
...mine always do and I know why.
I wouldn't wish my left knee on anyone (ow).
And thank you for the brief explanation, McGyver.
Why do movies taking place on farms tend to have fowl language?
Oh no, poor MilDragonling about to go into the Vault of No Return? ;A;
Because they're "cheep"?
Because they're produced by "quacks"?
Because they ran out of time on the "cluck"?
I don't know. OK, why do movies taking place on farms tend to have fowl language?
Non-complaint: Wheee... I've avoided decent into the hobby expenditure black hole again. Just barely though.
After finding myself successfully having paid off my credit card and medical debts and actually having discretionary cash left over, I was tempted to "fix" yet another of my family of computers. I took a long hard look at "GrampaBear" yesterday and got a bee in my bonnet to replace a few of his organs and make him young again. Then I remembered that GrampaBear still holds many still functioning (with issues), older, WinXP, WinVista, Win7 programs that have not yet been shoehorned into Win10 on any of my new machines (Momma, Poppa, and BabyBear), If I renew Grampa I'd get a new motherboard (Asus Prime B460M-A R2.0, $99), a new CPU (Intel i5 10400, $150). I already have 16GB of DDR4 RAM(2x8 Corsair Vengeance LPX). The existing power supply is OK (EVGA 500w Bronze). So,I could do the whole thing for about $250 but I don't trust Windows upgrades, so I'd have to reinstall windows from scratch and I'd lose all those old applications that needed tweaking to run in Win7, WinVista, and Win10.. And the machine I'd end up with would be like a runner in a straitjacket because of the old HP style case with minimum ventilation and one tiny fan.
OK, so "fixing" Grampa is problematic. What about building a complete new computer? Yay, fun time again! But a new machine with that motherboard and CPU could be quite zippy with a proper graphics card and appropriate power supply(Corsair RX750x $110) and 16GB more RAM($60), and of course I'd need a new case for at least ($50). So now the cost is up to $400. And of course on that motherboard I would want to use its M.2 NVMe capability for the system boot drive, so that's another $100 for a 1TB drive. And we mustn't forget about fans. Two or three 120mm fans for another $40 or $50.
Sigh, $250 was thinkable, but $500+ is becoming unthinkable.
Conclusion: GrampaBear can continue to retire and sleep in peace. He's on line, and behaves well when I wake him. He still does his old jobs very nicely and he really doesn't need "fixing". And I just saved $500. Wheee...
Some of their actors only use fowl language. The chickens cluck. The ducks quack. The turkeys gobble and so on.
Got some potential good news for tomorrow. Not sure how good the news is until it comes in. I may have scored a used laptop under a program that helps people with income difficulties get a computer!
I thought you already had a computer.
Yes, but not with me. I don't have a direct number to the one who might have it, and that person was supposed to give it back to me a long time ago, but has yet to do so.
I want to sleep but I forgot how it seems?
Last week I got pityriasis, and now my stomach is apparently suffering some sort of mummy's curse.
I still can't fall asleep!
...find an advocate, if they don't give it back, that is theft.
Complaint: I've just spent the last 45 minutes trying to track down an error in the big AMAZing on-line store's "StoreCard" management. I order a LOT of stuff from there but It seems that about every three months I end up with a discrepancy between their records and my spreadsheet. Why is it so difficult to keep track of what I actually owe? I use their proprietary "StoreCard" for credit and I try to pay that off each month by bank transfer to avoid interest charges. However, somewhere along the line between what I bought, what's been charged, when it gets charged, what's been started to be refunded, what's actually been refunded, where the refunded $$ goes(card or bonus points or deducted from next purchase), the minor differences in tax computation between purchase receipt and posted tax collected, purchase prices split between multiple vendors, ghaaa... it's driving me bonkers. How can I keep track of my pennies when they keep scattering them into different piles. If this keeps up then some day I'll look up and realize that They're coming to take me away ho ho hee hee ha ha.
The error? I never found it. I just finally entered a $5.09 "Adjustment" and hope that in the next few days things get straightened out, it usually does. It's almost always my error and I just have to suck up the error and admit that I'm not as quick in the head as I used to be. I try to keep my spreadsheet accurate to the penny, but the AMAZing store's financial complexity keeps boogering me up.
There's a reason I never got into accounting as a career, I chose something simple like Quantum Physics, .
For some reason I decided to buy a pair of jeans on eBay. I hope they fit.
Unless they are really weird (three arms, two necks, etc.), they will fit somebody.
When will the $1 items go into vault?
Only DAZ knows when they will actually go into the vault. However, Thursday 24 February is the last day to purchase them for a dollar.
...complaint: Tuesday morning just as I was sitting down to brekkie. a nice warm plate of waffles smothered in butter and real maple syrup brekkie sausage and a French press of coffee, the building's smoke/fire alarm went off. Had to get all bundled up as it was below freezing outside.
The more annoying part, it turned out to be yet another false alarm. Having too many of those lately as by the time I hobble halfway down the alarm stops.. So I just keep going down, head to the lobby entrance and wait for the lifts to be put back in service.
I got help organizing my room. I found the pink earbuds I thought I lost. I have a pair of bluetooth earbuds for my computer or TiVo, but a pair of airpods for my apple products.
I found out that Chrome can let me have different profiles for the browser. I find that awesome!
I want to render something but I forgot what I was going to set up to render?
It's funny how often I'll post an animal-themed render to Instagram and get clearly auto-generated DMs from people wanting to make my "dog" or "cat" a brand ambassador for whatever they're selling. The most recent such render depicted a dog with Angel wings ascending to heaven, making it even funnier, because my already fictional dog was also dead.
